Puritan’s Pride Neuro-PS Review

Puritan’s Pride Neuro-PS Review

Price: $33.99

Puritan’s Pride Neuro-PS is actually not a nootropic supplement stack, but a phosphatidylserine supplement. That means that it really only has one ingredient. However, if you look onto Puritan’s Pride’s website, you’ll actually see that they claim that it can do a little bit more than what would seem obvious. It plays a role in neurotransmission and it supports the brain. Additionally, it’s claimed to be shown in scientific studies to reduce the risk of cognitive dysfunction in the elderly.

Aside from this, Purtian’s Pride Neuro-PS also:

  • Helps improve memory
  • Sharpens mental focus
  • Promotes mental clarity
  • Supports learning ability

Neuro-PS Ingredients

As state, the only ingredient that Neuro-PS has in its formula is phosphatidylserine. However, it’s included in a 1:4 ratio with soy lecithin, in a blend they call a Phospholipid Complex.Despite it actually being only 100mg, 100mg is already a lot. In fact, most other brain enhancers out there, especially those that are pre-stacked, only have it in doses of around 30-50mg. Obviously of course, you wouldn’t want to take Neuro-PS by itself, but you really might benefit from it when stacked with other similar nootropics, such as piracetam, acetyl l-carnitine, and vinpocetine.

What Neuro-PS Does for You

It’s quite difficult to benefit a lot from just supplementing phosphatidylserine through Neuro-PS, but it might be a better advised idea to take it stacked with other nootropic supplements as well. Phosphatidylserine has actually shown uses in many scientific cases for preventing Alzheimer’s disease, and in a few cases, improving thinking ability and focus, and limiting the symptoms of ADHD as well.

At the same time, if you have to invest in just a couple nootropic supplements for a stack, Neuro-PS might not be the best idea. As mentioned before, a racetam, Acetyl L-Carnitine, and maybe Vinpocetine would all be better supplements.

The Problem with Neuro-PS

As mentioned, Neuro-PS isn’t a bad brain enhancer at all. However, the fact that it is only one single ingredient in a supplement might turn some away who are not experienced with stacking. While it is great for stacking supplements, some may argue that there are other better supplements out there that have shown more effective use, but if you have a little extra cash, Neuro-PS isn’t a bad choice at all. However, pre-stacked formulas aren’t so bad either if you don’t really want to be mixing and matching.
