The Ultimate Brain Pill for Work and Study: Nitrovit vs. AddieUp
If you think it’s just a couple of ingredients that separates the two hottest brain supplements this year, you’re going to be in for a big surprise. The design language put into AddieUp and Nitrovit might be vaguely similar upon first glance, but after taking a look online, examining the ingredients, and then trying a couple pills from their bottles (and then some), it becomes clear that the battle taking place here isn’t just about formulas. This is a clash of features, priorities, and even philosophy.
The first difference you’ll notice when checking out both of their respective websites is definitely going to be the thought processes that went into the creation of both supplements. Just reading a couple lines of text makes it increasingly evident that the two were created for two very distinct markets: the overworked student and the aspiring entrepreneur – for AddieUp and Nitrovit, respectively.
If you’re shopping for the hottest brain pills this year, there’s no more important comparison than this – Nutra Naturals’ AddieUp vs. Neuro Laboratories’ Nitrovit.
While AddieUp’s website is riddled with check marks and comparison tables that may appeal to the unappreciated student looking to finally get their 4.0, Nitrovit sports an edgier design that might draw the attention of innovators and success-driven people alike.
Another distinction between the two online is that while it seems like Nutra Naturals is trying hard to sell you into buying AddieUP, Neuro Laboratories doesn’t. Rather, they present you a boatload of information, giving you the choice to purchase Nitrovit or not after having been fully informed about everything that has to do with the product.
While AddieUp’s website is full of claims, comparisons, and testimonials, Nitrovit knows that it doesn’t need to “show off” to get you to buy. Instead of the regular marketing hype, the website features a brief story behind Nitrovit’s conception, detailed descriptions for each of the ingredients, and a full explanation on how these ingredients will come to help your brain.
The Battle of Formulas: Energy Enhancement vs. Raw Brain Power
Taking a good, long gander at each brain pill’s respective labels, the differences in philosophy between the two companies become even more distinct. AddieUp retains most of its ingredients under the large 821 mg proprietary blend, while Nitrovit’s 12 ingredients are laid bare for all the world to see.

The superior quality ingredients used in Nitrovit’s formula stand right out while glancing at the formula. The company seems to want to provide the highest grade ingredients, and this is evident in the ingredients used. The formula also shows great attention to detail as each ingredient seems to have been specifically selected, not only for quality, but also for the ability to work even better when paired with other complementing ingredients. Nitrovit takes its ingredients from some of the most popular nootropics and brain enhancers today, and in similar fashion, it succeeds as others have.
The formula is also well-distributed as well to allow substantial dosages for each ingredient, while also keeping the amount of other “filler” to a minimum. Nitrovit’s formula for the most part include only “the essentials”, but that’s kept the ingredients list clear and concise.
“Clear and concise” are not the words that come to mind when you pull up AddieUp’s formula. Like many other brain pills that came before it, AddieUp trades off high quality ingredients for a wider range of ingredients, and high ingredient dosages for the added energy boosting effects of caffeine. Having 11 ingredients, you’d initially think that the ingredients are as well-distributed as they are in Nitrovit, but take a closer look and you’ll find that a large chunk of the formula goes to caffeine-based stimulants.
No offense to caffeine-based ingredients – we know that their use can be beneficial sometimes… but the word you’re looking for here is sometimes, as there will be days where you would like to forego the added ingredient. When working in the evening, but still wanting to go to bed at a reasonable hour, for example. It might have been a better option to have had it as a separate option that you can add to your order, as Neuro Laboratories does with their second product, Nitroamp. This allows for the formula to be more nootropic than it is stimulant, while allowing us to justify the price (after all, why pay $60 for what is essentially 1/3 caffeine?).
Convincing Results: What Each Supplement Does for You
You can very easily say that the differences between ingredients and formulas directly correlate to the different experiences you get out of these two brain pills. AddieUp’s formula was definitely heavier on the energy and focus side, often providing thrilling highs, followed by demotivating lows. In comparison, Nitrovit brings out a more polished experience, gradually and subtly enhancing your focus and mood, while improving upon your memory in the long run as well.
Due to the inclusion of caffeine, AddieUp shined in improving energy and focus – but that also seemed to have been its downfall. Perhaps it was the imbalance of ingredients (we can’t be for sure due to the individual ingredient dosages being hidden under a proprietary blend), but while the buzz you’d get from it was overpowering, any improvements to mood or memory were underwhelming. In addition to that, any highs you’d get would also be followed by typical stimulant crashes. You’ll almost always end up feeling like crap 4-5 hours after having taken AddieUp.
“Due to the inclusion of caffeine, AddieUp shined in improving energy and focus – but that also seemed to have been its downfall.”
While Nitrovit’s strongest points were probably to memory and focus, it didn’t lack in other areas at all. From start to finish, you’ll feel a gradual up-kick in focus, which is usually accompanied by an improvement in thought clarity as well. You don’t feel any restlessness while on Nitrovit either as the feeling can’t entirely be called a “buzz”, but just more of a positive “can-do” feeling. Over 2-3 weeks, improvements to memory are also noticeable, but that’s more of a subjective thing of course. However, those who try it do notice remembering more things – either when reviewing their notes or when learning something new.
We weren’t able to experience any side effects from Nitrovit, however, headaches may occur if you aren’t drinking enough water. Then again, this is the case with most nootropics, as they can often make your body pass out more water, so be sure you rehydrate often.
Aside from the caffeine-related effects, AddieUp doesn’t produce any adverse side effects. It can drain you of energy though. It sometimes seems that on AddieUp, you are simply borrowing energy that you can use later to use now. Most evenings were pretty rough and mornings are sometimes even more so.
AddieUp had mostly mixed reviews online, with almost as many negative reviews as it had positive ones. In contrast, reviews on NITROvit were more mostly positive, but this is also due to the fact that it’s relatively newer in the market.
AddieUp User Review:
Currently I have been taking AddieUp for two months and LOVE it. It gives me the energy without all the side effects. My focus has increased as well as energy and when I’m ready to go to sleep it’s just that. I wake feeling well rested and ready for the day at hand. Thank you AddieUp for giving me what I need.

I am a nurse’s aid and I wake up early in the morning. AddieUP gave me the energy I needed to get thru the entire day. This is by far the best product I have ever tried!

Nitrovit User Review:
I recently started using Nitrovit and I’m already seeing a vast improvement in my mental focus. I am now able to focus in lectures and understand what is going on when in the past it was impossible for me to stay focused for more then 10 minutes. I have also seen an increase in retention and decrease in study time but also learning way more. I credit all of these improvements to Nitrovit!

Oh my gosh! I’ve been taking this for a total of 4 days I can honestly say it works. I have to memorize 200 drugs for my pharmacy tech exam. It used to take me at least an hour and a half to memorize 10 drugs/day – now it takes me like 30 mins. I was skeptical when I first started because I didn’t feel a “rush” but my memory skills have been increased drastically. I will say that I still find it hard to focus but that’s just me. If you go in with the right mindset nitrovit will work for you.

Pricing & Value: Are these Supplements Worth the Money?
At the end of the day, it all comes down to whether these supplements are a good value for money or not. Nitrovit and AddieUp both come at around the same price, with AddieUp being just marginally more expensive (believe it or not). Nitrovit costs $58.97 for a 60-count bottle, which lasts 30 days with the 2 per day serving. AddieUp costs $59.95 for a similar 60-count bottle, also lasting 30 days with a 2 per day serving.
The price here really isn’t an issue as these supplements are actually priced quite competitively, with some brain pills going for as much as $125 for a month’s supply! At $60, the price comes down to a dollar per capsule and two dollars for a day. This isn’t so expensive when you think about the cost of coffee though, with some cafes serving coffee for up to $4.
The question here is which of these two supplements is the better buy? Well, it shouldn’t be that difficult of an answer if you have been reading this comparison. AddieUp does nothing more than give you a short burst of energy, similar to what many highly caffeinated drinks do. In comparison, Nitrovit actually seems to enhance your raw brain power, enabling you to make full use of its capabilities.
Brain Pill Showdown: The Bottom Line
So when it all comes down to it, which is the better brain pill – Nitrovit or AddieUp? Well, the simple answer would be Nitrovit, but the justification behind that answer is a little more complicated than you’d think.
While both are really popular options as brain pills, there are some distinct differences between the two. Firstly, they both appeal to slightly different markets. AddieUp seems to be targeting college students looking to get a better grade in their exams, while Nitrovit seems to favor the busy entrepreneur who is just looking to get on top of his busy schedule and the endless projects he has on his hands.
Both AddieUp and Nitrovit have a short list of ingredients, but while Nitrovit seems to focus more on delivering a well-distributed list of ingredients, AddieUp leans heavily on its stimulants, listing caffeine twice on the formula, which is further complemented by the inclusion of guarana. This reflects heavily on the effects as well, as Nitrovit is more subtle and a great all-around performer, while AddieUp is a little lopsided at times. This is what you’ll notice as well when reading user reviews elsewhere as Nitrovit reviews tend to be more positive, while AddieUp’s are rather mixed.
Both of these brain pills are priced competitively at around the $60 mark, but Nitrovit is far better worth your money in our opinion, simply for the superior effects it provides for the same dollar amount.
In this case, it’s really all about what matters more to you. Are you looking to stay up all night completely pumped with energy and without regard to how you’ll actually feel come morning, or are you looking for a boost in productivity, with great improvements to memory, focus, and mood? If it’s the former, you’ll enjoy AddieUp, but if you’re like us and probably most of the people reading this review, we’re sure you’ll enjoy the many benefits Nitrovit brings.
